What We’re Seeing: Printing Design Trends in 2023

November 15, 2023 • Posted in In Mold Labeling

Everyone likes being around things that are beautiful. Whether it’s at home, in the car, or around the workplace, interacting with products that are pleasing to the eye and touch can enhance an everyday experience.

This is one of the reasons we make it our job to stay on top of design trends. Our team is constantly looking for ways to add new value and excitement to familiar products. We attend trade shows, partner with industry researchers, partake in original design development and more.

Showcasing Design Trends in 2023

In 2023, we’ve seen a high demand for futuristic designs that incorporate complex curves, 3-D effects, geometric patterns and metallic finishes. We’re able to deliver on customer requests for these features because our team of experts is constantly looking for new ways to combine advances in materials and science with engineering capabilities.

Our focus is and always has been reliable solutions for bringing your product visions to life.

So what have we created so far in 2023? Our customers are taking the specs we give them and letting their imaginations run wild — in a good way! We’re printing vibrant colors, fine textures, a variety of finishes (from smooth matte to high gloss), and combining inks, substrates and technique to get original and creative. There’s truly no limit to what we can achieve with capabilities like in-mold labeling, fine expression screen printing, physical vapor deposition and more.

See the exciting, new effects we’ve brought to life this year. Wood grain, sparkling pigments, stone effects — they’re all pushing the limits of material exploration, combining reality with creativity.

Creating Modern Designs That Last

Even the most aesthetically pleasing parts have to be functional, too. Technologies like back-lit touch and dead front surfaces (aka “hidden until lit”) are now mainstays of dashboard design — which means they need to look and perform amazingly for long periods of time. Important considerations include weight, conductivity, heat resistance and more.

So we make sure that what we create not only appeals to the eye, but will also stand the tests of time. Our fully-integrated team of experts manages the entire creation process, from prototyping to mass production, so that we can ensure quality every step of the way. We’ll help bring your design to market like we’ve done with thousands of others since 1977.
